Firstly, you may need to tell united states if your DCs are at least 2003 and/or later and if the new DC is running same or late OS (you lot need to check DC function levels) ?

It is highly recommended non to restore DCs (unless its to restore DC objects). Then information technology is recommended to run 2 DCs so that they replicate to each other. And if possible run a redundant DHCP as neglect over.

It is also not recommended to upgrade the DCs to more than 2 levels of OSe (2003, 2008, 2012, 2016).

Then if you have DC1 (svr 2003), it is recommended to
1. add a DC2 (svr 2012) & transfer FMSO roles
2. bench DC1 (2003) & change DC function level to 2012
3. add DC3 (svr 2016) & transfer FMSO roles
4. demote DC2 (2002) & change DC office level to 2016
5. add DC4 (svr 2016)

There is a sudden change on visitor we back up and possessor of it with half of the users need their DC1 server then we need to reformat DC1 and change information technology to a new domain and put on their new network.

And then some other half of users still need their connection to electric current domain, so they buy new server that we need to replicate to DC1.

Both server are physical servers.

Physical should not be an choice.

Removing DC1 to create a new domain, then re-creating a new DC1 with new kit makes no sense, why not put the new server in equally the new domain and exit the existing lonely?

I don't like the physical side of it, only this would be far less work and y'all don't have to touch what already exists

We also like that i but at that place are some rules on the ownership of hardware for each visitor so we need to do it the hard way.
